JIMMY CONSIDINE SUPERVALU FUNDRAISER 2017 RAISES €1,182.75 FOR WEST CLARE CANCER CENTRE!!!!!!!!
Huge thanks to Jimmy Considine, Dromelihy, Cree, for his fundraiser held on Friday, August 25th last, in Supervalu, Kilrush. An incredible amount of money – €1,182.75 was raised on the day, all in aid of the West Clare Mini Marathon Cancer Care Centre here in Kilkee. Thanks also to Tony Murphy, Tony O’Connor, Rose Green and Phil Lorigan, who gave of their time, helping to make the day the success that it was. A big thank you also to Paul Queally, Manager of SuperValu Queally’s Kilrush, who very kindly provided refreshments to Jimmy and his team throughout the day. Sincere thanks to everybody for your kindness, commitment and generosity.

IRELAND’S WINNING HOME OF THE YEAR 2017 RAISES €1,060.40 FOR WEST CLARE CANCER CENTRE!!!!!!!!!!!
Sincere thanks to Louise Mc Guane of The Chapel Gate Irish Whiskey Company and her husband Dominic McCarthy, for the marvellous sum of €1,060.40, donated to the West Clare Mini Marathon Cancer Care Centrefrom their fundraiser held on Saturday, August 26th last.
Louise and Dominic made their winning home in Cooraclare available to the public and donated the proceeds to the West Clare Cancer Centre in Kilkee. Sincere thanks also to Bernie Tubridy, Cooraclare, who liaised with Louise to make the day the success that it was. Heartfelt thanks to you all.

CARA CONWAY, DOONAHA, KILKEE, RAISES €1,345.00 FOR WEST CLARE CANCER CENTRE!!!!!!!

Huge thanks and congratulations to Cara on the success of her fundraiser ‘Cara’s going for the chop’ held on 26th July last, in aid of the West Clare Mini Marathon Cancer Care Centre. In true princess style, Cara not only let down her long hair, she donated it to the Rapunzel Foundation to help children living with hair loss and donated the proceeds of her endeavours to the Cancer Centre here in Kilkee. Thanks also to Cara’s mam Michelle Conway and dad Brendan. Superheroes don’t always take to the skies or wrestle giants – sometimes they just don their uniforms and go to school, quietly changing the lives of others for the better………………..

WEST CLARE TRACTOR RUN 2017 RAISES €4,140.00 FOR WEST CLARE CANCER CENTRE!!!!!
Sincere thanks to Pats Hassett and her comrades in arms who pimped their rides and tricked out their bigwheels for the 5th Annual West Clare Tractor Run on Sunday 16th July 2017, raising an astonishing €4,140.00 in what was another beautifully choreographed production from Pats and Team West. Thanks also to Mags Keane, Morrisseys Bar Carrigaholt and to everybody involved in this great event. Roll on 2018 when Pats will once again ascend her Iron Throne and marshal the forces to do battle for the people of West Clare………..

8th ANNUAL MATTIE & MIKEY MEMORIAL TRACTOR RUN 2017 RAISES €4,501.50 FOR WEST CLARE CANCER CENTRE!!!!!!!
Sincere thanks to Mary T Mc Inerney and organisers of the 8th Annual Mattie & Mikey Memorial Tractor Run held on Sunday 16th July last, for their marvellous donation of €4,501.50 to the West Clare Cancer Centre here in Kilkee. We are, as ever, humbled by the extent of the commitment and dedication of Mary T. and her team to the West Clare Cancer Centre and to the continued provision of cancer care services for the people of West Clare. COUNTY CLARE GOLF OUTING BENEFIT FUND NEW YORK 2017 RAISES SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR WEST CLARE CANCER CENTRE KILKEE!!!!!!!
The Committee of the West Clare Mini Marathon Cancer Care Centre wishes to express its deepest gratitude to P.J. Harvey, Chairman, Pat Boland, President, Tony Nolan and fellow Officers of the COUNTY CLARE GOLF OUTING BENEFIT FUND, INC., New York, for their fantastic donation of Seven Thousand Dollars (€5,739.12) to the West Clare Cancer Centre here in Kilkee, from their 2017 annual golf classic fundraiser held in Douglaston Golf Club on July 27th last.
The Charity, now in it’s 22nd year, supports causes in Ireland and in the USA – the West Clare Cancer Centre, St. Clare’s School in Ennis and YWCA White Plains Special Needs Programs in New York. We are deeply appreciative of the on-going commitment and dedication of everybody involved.
