Calling all crafters and bakers and candlestick makers!
Do you have Christmas presents or gifts consigned to the back of your dressing table or wardrobe that, given the opportunity, could shine like a jewel in a new home? Are you a dab hand in the kitchen? If so, read on!
Johanna, our counsellor, is holding a fundraiser for the West Clare Cancer Centre on Easter Saturday, March 26th, at the Community Centre in Kilkee, from 12 – 2pm., and would greatly appreciate donations of crafts, home-baking and bric-a-bric. Anybody wishing to donate can contact Johanna on (086) 0829907 or leave donations for her at the Wild Atlantic Wools & Gift Shop, The Market, Ennis – she will also gladly collect donations each Wednesday en route from Ennis to Kilkee. We can also accept donations at the Cancer Centre daily, from 11-2pm. Liberate some possessions for a very worthy cause!

We are extremely grateful to Martin Donnelly and fellow cyclists from the Clonee Cycling Club for their tremendous donation of €11,500 to the West Clare Cancer Centre. The ‘In Remembrance’ Cycle, from Clonee to Cooraclare, took place in June of this year, in aid of the West Clare Cancer Centre, Kilkee, and St. Francis Hospice in Dublin. This is a marvellous result for both charities and a marvellous reflection of all those involved. You truly are our ‘Everyday Heroes’ and the absolute epitomy of altruism.
Thank you all sincerely.
