15th Annual Gortglass Lake Christmas Day Swim

15th ANNUAL GORTGLASS LAKE CHRISTMAS DAY SWIM 2018 will take place on Christmas Day at 12pm sharp. Join John O’Connell and his brave band of ‘everyday heroes’ as they prepare to take the plunge on Christmas Day for the continued provision of cancer services in West Clare.  No registration is necessary and donations are welcome on the day. MAGS KEANE’S VOICES FOR CANCER CHARITY CONCERT RAISES €5,175.00 FOR WEST CLARE CANCER CENTRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sincere thanks to Mags Keane and her team for their commitment, dedication and community spirit resulting in the wonderful concert in St. Mary’s Church, Carrigaholt, on 29th November last. This marvellous musical extravaganza once again showcased the wealth of talent available in West Clare resulting in the marvellous sum of €5,175.00 raised for the West Clare Cancer Centre in Kilkee. Thank you to everybody who contributed to making the concert that resounding success that it was.

TOM CRAMPTON’S NIGHT OF MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT FUNDRAISER RAISES €4,245.00 FOR WEST CLARE CANCER CENTRE!!!!!!

Sincere thanks to Tom Crampton, Kilclohane, Quilty, for his fantastic fundraising night held at the Quilty Tavern on Saturday 24th November last. A night of marvellous music & entertainment from PJ Murrihy & son Seamus, the Browne Brothers of Cree, Joe Searson, Caroline Tubridy, Pat Curtin, Michael Garry, John Joe Hassett, the Clare Set Dancers & John Fennell ‘Hell for Leather’ to name but a few, resulted in the amazing amount of €4,245.00 being raised for the West Clare Cancer Centre here in Kilkee.

Thanks also to the Paddy, Brian and Cora Cooney, of The Quilty Tavern for their hospitality, to Brian Clancy Bus Hire and Matt Keating Taxi Hire, for providing transport after the event, free of charge, and to everybody who contributed to making the event the resounding success that it was.

3rd ANNUAL WEST CLARE CHARITY CONCERT – VOICES FOR CANCER 29th NOVEMBER 2018!!!!!!!

Following on from its tremendous success, the 3rd ANNUAL WEST CLARE CHARITY CONCERT – VOICES FOR CANCER, will take place on Thursday 29th November in St. Mary’s Church, Carrigaholt, commencing at 7:30p.m. The event, with Mags Keane at the helm, marvellously showcases the wealth of musical talent available in West Clare while at the same time, raising funds for the continued provision of cancer care services for its inhabitants.
There will be a raffle during the concert’s interval and anyone wishing to donate spot prizes can leave them with Mags in Carrigaholt. Tickets are €10.00 and will be available at the door or, if you would like to reserve your ticket, you can contact Mags Keane Keanes Bar, Carrigaholt on (086) 8886820. Come along and enjoy an a fantastic evening’s entertainment. All proceeds will be donated to the West Clare Mini Marathon Cancer Care Centre in Kilkee.

Tom Crampton’s Fundraiser – Night of Music & Entertainment at the Quilty Tavern

Tom Crampton’s Fundraiser in aid of the West Clare Cancer Centre will take place in the Quilty Tavern on Saturday 24th November 2018.

There will be music, sean-nos dancing and entertainment from PJ Murrihy and son Seamus, the Browne Brothers of Cree, Joe Searson, Caroline Tubridy, Pat Curtin, Michael Garry, John Joe Hassett, the Clare Set Dancers – John Fennell ‘Hell for Leather’ to name but a few of the acts on the night.  Refreshments and finger food will also be provided 

Brian Clancy will be sponsoring a bus, free of charge, to bring people home on the night.  Matt Keating will also be providing his taxi free of charge.

Come along and enjoy a night of great entertainment, all for a great cause!

Congratulations and huge thanks to Senan Keane and fellow members of Killimer Parish Pastoral Council for bringing the King of Rock n’Roll to Knockerra Hall on Saturday 17th November last. The concert was a sell-out that left fans screaming for more at the end of the night and raised the fantastic sum of €4,000.00 for West Clare Mini Marathon Cancer Care Centre
Huge thanks also to The Elvis Tribute Band from Belfast and of course to the King himself Patrick Johnson ELVIS!

6th ANNUAL WEST CLARE CANCER SUPPORT GROUP POKER CLASSIC RAISES €6,415.00 FOR WEST CLARE CANCER CENTRE!!!!!!

Sincere thanks to Matt Keating and his team for making the 6th Annual Poker Fundraising Classic such a successful event, raising €6,415.00 for West Clare Cancer Services.
