The Annual Jimmy Considine Supervalu Fundraiser takes place on Friday 25th August next, from 9:00am to 6pm.

The 8th Annual Dan O’Halloran Memorial 5K Race will kick off from Kilmihil Community Centre at 2pm on Saturday 5th August next. Registration takes place at 12 noon. The proceeds from this year’s fundraiser will be donated to the West Clare Cancer Centre, Milford Hospice and Kilmihil Community Centre. We are very grateful to Carmel O’Halloran and her team of people for their commitment and dedication to the West Clare Cancer Centre over the past number of years.
Local girl and ‘everyday hero’ Cara Conway, Doonaha, Kilkee, Co. Clare, will be squaring up to cancer on July 26th next by donating her beautiful hair to the Rapunzel Foundation which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair through alopecia & illness. The proceeds from Cara’s fundraiser are being donated to the West Clare Mini Marathon Cancer Care Centre here in Kilkee and we are very grateful to both Cara and her mam Michelle Conway for this amazingly generous and thoughtful gesture.

8th Annual Tractor Run in memory of Mattie McInerney and Michael Flynn Leaving Mullagh sports field at 2.15 to Ennistymon graveyard. €20 per tractor proceeds to West Clare Cancer Centre followed by a good evenings entertainment at Michael A’s Miltown Malbay.

CHARITY WALK & RUN FOR WEST CLARE CANCER CENTRE FRIDAY 7th JULY!!!!!
The second annual 6km Charity Walk & Run from Querrin Creek to Lisdeen Church will take place on Friday night, 7th July next. Registration takes place at 7:00pm at Querrin Pier. Walkers will start at 8:00pm followed by runners at 8:30pm. Children can participate for free. Refreshments will be served afterwards in Keanes Oyster Bar Lisdeen. All proceeds are being donated to the West Clare Mini Marathon Cancer Care Centre in Kilkee.
Last year’s event raised an astonishing €2,670.00 for the provision of cancer care services for the people of West Clare. Sincere thanks to the organising committee and good luck to all participants!

Since 2003 over €30,000 has been donated to various charitable organisations throughout the country from the proceeds of the moneypoint car wash and we are extremely grateful to everybody involved for their altruism, commitment and dedication to improving the lives of others.

The Committee of the West Clare Mini Marathon Cancer Care Centre wishes to extend a huge ‘Thank You’ to the First Holy Communion Class of St. Senans National School Kilrush, and to their teacher, Jean Keating, for their FANTASTIC donation of €215.00 from their First Holy Communion Day gift money.
