Congratulations to everybody who took part in the 19th Annual West Clare Mini Marathon on Sunday 29th January last, a day that once again demonstrated that tight-knit community spirit and ability to come together to ensure the continued provision of cancer care services for the people of West Clare – a force that has been evident since the beginning nineteen years ago – a force to be reckoned with! Kudos to you, the people.
Life will not always go according to plan and all we can do is manage the hand we have been dealt as best we can. A cancer diagnosis is like to having the rug pulled from under you and, unfortunately, while we cannot change that or fix it, we can offer our services – free of charge – to help you and your family members on this difficult journey. Please feel free to drop into the Centre in Corry Lane or call us on 065-9060762 – or if you prefer to email us: email@example.com.
The 13th annual Gortglass Christmas Day Swim raised €4,745.00 for the West Clare Cancer Centre in Kilkee. The group so far have raised in excess of €70,000.00 for cancer care services in West Clare – a truly tremendous achievement by local people in a small, West Clare community. Heartfelt thanks to all of you.
