The Committee of the West Clare Mini Marathon wish to acknowledge and applaud the tremendous generosity of the Board of Officers and Committee Members of the COUNTY CLARE GOLF OUTING BENEFIT FUND, INC., based in Queens, New York, of which Pat Boland, a native of Kilkee, is President. The Charity hosted its twentieth event on Thursday, July 30th 2015, resulting in an overwhelming donation of Eight Thousand Dollars to the West Clare Cancer Centre here in Kilkee.
Pat has pledged that during his tenure as President of the County Clare Golf Outing Benefit Fund, Inc., that he will do his very best to raise as much money as possible and that he will make the West Clare Cancer Centre his number one priority.
The on-going commitment and dedication of Pat and his fellow committee members in the face of the current economic climate and indeed in the midst of the daily tsunami of worries, challenges and life events that consumes us all, is truly humbling, and we, on this side of the Atlantic, are very grateful to you.
Tony Nolan, another Kilkee native, is a prominent businessman in New York and also a faithful supporter of the annual fundraiser.
Thanks to Pat and his stalwart colleagues, our Centre in Kilkee can continue to thrive and provide much-needed services for the inhabitants of West Clare.
We cannot overstate our gratitude to you all.
