Sincere thanks to Tom Crampton, Kilclohane, Quilty, for his fantastic fundraising night held at the Quilty Tavern on Saturday 24th November last. A night of marvellous music & entertainment from PJ Murrihy & son Seamus, the Browne Brothers of Cree, Joe Searson, Caroline Tubridy, Pat Curtin, Michael Garry, John Joe Hassett, the Clare Set Dancers & John Fennell ‘Hell for Leather’ to name but a few, resulted in the amazing amount of €4,245.00 being raised for the West Clare Cancer Centre here in Kilkee.
Thanks also to the Paddy, Brian and Cora Cooney, of The Quilty Tavern for their hospitality, to Brian Clancy Bus Hire and Matt Keating Taxi Hire, for providing transport after the event, free of charge, and to everybody who contributed to making the event the resounding success that it was.
